Building Confidence in Pile Quality

Taskmapper digitizes and streamlines solar project pile installation and QC, replacing spreadsheets with a real-time project map visualization. Automated workflows track progress, guide quality checks with required photo and signature capture, and ensure accuracy and accountability. The system automatically generates and saves the final QC report to the DMS, providing a single source of truth and eliminating manual errors.

Building Confidence in Pile Quality

Pile installation is one of the most critical stages of a solar project. Traditionally, quality tracking for piles has been managed in spreadsheets — a method that often slows teams down, makes collaboration harder, and leaves too much room for error.

One of our customers recently transformed this process by moving to Taskmapper. Instead of updating rows in Excel, they now visualize pile quality directly on a project map. Each stage of construction is tracked in real time — starting even before the quality team steps in.

With Construction Workflows, progress updates are automated from pile installation through to pile QC. Quality steps are captured through form workflows that:

  • Guide users through multiple checks and approvals

  • Capture photos and signatures at each step

  • Ensure nothing is missed before sign-off

Pile Installation and QC workflows can be fully digitized on Taskmapper

Once complete, the final QC report is automatically exported and saved in the Document Management System (DMS) - providing a single source of truth that’s easy to access and audit

By shifting pile quality tracking into Taskmapper, teams gain speed, accuracy, and accountability — while freeing themselves from the limitations of spreadsheets..
